Superman wears Gabe Venturelli pajamas! Seriously, that's the best California barrel I've ever seen. I've watched this so many times. But what blows me away most is how several people were paddling hard and/or almost dropped in on Gabe. The fact that he navigated through all their chandeliers boggles my mind.

What a trip that a south swell can pass through, around Anacapa, to give Santa Barbara surf. If I remember correctly, it was under 180 degrees like a SSE swell from Baja Mexico. Weird rare swell angle. Too bad SSE and WSW swells are not common here.
