A Review Of The Gemini Jets Interactive Series

The Gemini Jets Interactive series is a relitavly new series of model aircraft, the first of which was released in 2019. As of right now, Gemini Jets has released 4 in total, The Atlas Air 747-8f, The Polar Air Cargo 747-8f, An Air Bridge Cargo 747-8f and the Cargolux 747-8f in 1/400 scale.

In this video I will be buying all 4 of the released Interactive series aircraft and reviewing them. Are they worth it? and do they live up to the, non exsistant, Hype? (Or is the Lack of hype, deserved?)

What a review! RIP to the engines. Really enjoyed all the expressions and points made and I highly agree with them. I would definitely think it would be an interesting element if they can make it to where the parts move all in one piece but time will only tell on that one. Awesome video!

Preach, brother! This is an excellent review series! TBH, these are not worth it to me due to the panel gaps and the paint on the plastic prices is different from the metal sections. I will try there models at some point in the future and do a review as well. I really like your new review style!

I just bought 2 models for the first time in a while. One is the UPS B747-400F Interactive Series. I do have to say I love the model. The gaps aren’t actually that bad as some others I’ve seen. The only issue I have is the rear landing gear. It is all crooked sideways when lifted up, however it looks fine when on the ground.
I’ve actually gotten really lucky with my Gemini Jets Models. There are of course small quality control issues, but the only model I had trouble with was a China Southern A380 and that was the nose landing gear broke off after a big fatigue crack snapped off only after 2 days of it just sitting.
I’ve had much worse luck with other companies, the worst being Herpa. I bought a Etihad A340-600 in the F1 livery. Broken Right Main Landing Gear, Engines 3 & 4 were unattached, Engine 1’s engine fan came out of the engine casing and also came off, and both horizontal stabilizers fell out. I never returned it even though I should have, but I plan to fix it since I have all the parts except for engine 1’s casing. It’s probably in a junk drawer somewhere, at least I hope so.
Anyways thought I’d share my new purchase and past experiences, definitely love my Interactive Series!

The interactive series has a lot of cracks, so I don’t like it to much

They do look very cool when the door are open. But when you close them, you see the massive gaps and the nose shape doesn't have the angle change. The hump on all Gemini -8Fs also looks too round in the back. Imo it looks like a cool but flawed effort by GJ but and very expensive. Thanks for including my IG reply and great review, I can definitely see why you have your opinion on them!
