The "roll your whole outfit" hack saved me so much time my most recent trip. Preplanned outfits, just carry the whole thing to the dressing room, and then deposit your previus day's outfit in bag while rolled in a similar fashion. Absolutely stress free

I've been traveling my entire adult life. I always roll my clothes. But I never heard of packing cubes and I do shop in luggage stores. Amazing!! Thank you ❣️☺️🤗

My brother was in the Navy, and this is how he taught me to pack. Always roll, and bunch everything together at the bottom of your bag/suitcase. If your things are just stacked and there's open space, your stuff will get shuffled around the moment you stand your suitcase upright.

My dad taught us the rolling technique when we were young. Im 31 & that is still the only way to fold clothes.

I want him to roll my clothes without wrinkles because I cannot. Plus in my opinion packing cubes are good for long trips. For 2-3 days, just pack normally. I just recently packed for a trip and did it both ways (with & without packing cubes). Without cubes won every time.

In addition to that, carry a collapsed book or beach bag in your luggage. This will come in handy if you visit a beach or if you bought more souvenirs then you can pack. Simply load it up and use it as your personal item.

I personally found that for me (going on week long trips with a normal backpack) folding my jeans and pants and putting those on the bottom then rolling everything else in a cube on top works best

i first heard of the rolling technique from marie kondo, it's actually a great tip, especially if you bring along things like tule dresses that get all wrinkly very easily
