TWSBI Vac Mini and Vac20A inkwell Review

I have also had the chance to look at the inkwell that goes with them.

great video, and nice to have a UK perspective on these pens ( all others on you tube are USA based), nice for a fresh look. the main reason that the inkwell is screw on is: with vacuum fillers {some places/people call them POWER fillers}, the air exchanged in the filling process is so great it can shoot the ink bottle / tube out of ones hand and spread all that expensive ink everywhere on the table !! Goulet pen company {USA} reviews another model by the maker Viscont`e (not sure if I spelt it right, sorry) which also has an inkwell for their pens.

Love your reviews. You two make a great pair and should do more together. I just received a TWSBI 580al from Goulet Pen. Now I see why TWSBI gets such great reviews. I got the medium nib and find it very smooth. But I have buyers regret that maybe I should have chosen the fine. I put some Noodler's black and find it very wet. Since I am a recent fountain pen enthusiast, I will learn through trial and error what I like best in terms of writing experience, nib size and inks. I would love to see a collection video of your pens and inks. Thanks again. Along with The Pen Habit, Steven Brown, you are my favorite go to reviewers.

also I want that pen +inkwll so so so so incredibly bad. but i can't afford! I want the non mini iris one. I really don't like mini pens for some reason! I like really long pens :D

just had a thought, this pen also has a great feature, the piston has a cone on it which seals off the ink in the barrel from access to the feed, great to stop leakage in planes and in bags during transportation!- but it relies on one un twisting it before use, to get the ink flowing :)
