Don’t forget to put sour cream on your sarmale and papanasi is my favourite desert.
So are simple things like bread smoked bacon and red onion, Paine cu slanina si ceapa rosie or simple desert like gogosi which is a Romanian donut but way better.
And let’s not forget the simple things like vinete “babaganush” or egg plant spread in English and that salata de beuf and cheeses and smoked meats as appetizers which is then followed by a bunch of great different soups, then comes the main course like the sarmale or gratare bbq meats unusually pork maybe chicken or fish if by the delta for sure fish, love the beans and smoked pork hawk “fasole cu ciolan” with some murituri which is pickled vegetables and the desert come after that.😂😂
All from animals and things from garden from the land especially in the country, even the alcohol is made off the grapes of the land and plum trees and cherry trees like tuica plum brandy and visinata from the cherries and the wines from the different types of grapes they grow, can’t wait to go home, was supposed to be there now and from long ago.
