We don't have the exact location yet, but that really doesn't matter as this reveal will be a live stream event anyhow.

There are not a lot of race tracks here in Orange County. What there is here are Super Cars. GM is trying to move into the super car community. The Mecca of super cars is Newport Beach. The new Vet is going to do well. I wish it had a new motor, but it will do well anyway.

I seriously dought that the triangle piece on top of the door that everyone thinks could be the hidden door handle, will not even be there. I think the side opening will be from the door back and smaller. I also don't think the nose of the front of the car will not be so pointy either.

I don't see how the convertible top is going to open like that. That is where the engine is and it's going to be glass that's vented!

Great video! Can't wait to see the live stream for the reveal! Since you mentioned that some people who aren't press members will be there I hope StreetSpeed717 gets an invite and I'm not just saying that cause I'm a fan of his or because I've been watching him since the beginning of his channel, but he's done a lot of great stuff for Corvette's he has owned a lot of them and most of them we're C7's (a stingray, 2 or 3 z06's and 2r1's) he's also had a C5 and a c4 and he currently has a C6 but it's in Texas being built should be done soon since a few weeks ago he gave an update on it and they were waiting for one more part. Since he's owned a lot of Corvette's especially C7's plus he's given away 2 Corvette's ( a C5 and a c7) and he's about to giveaway another c7 but this time it's a Grand Sport last time it was a Stingray. Since he got one of the first manual C7 ZR1'S, I also hope he would also be lucky enough to get one of the first C8's. Also do you know of anyone else in the YouTube car community who has talked about buying a c8?

You should reconsider throwing in the towel on a press pass. Brink of Speed is almost exclusively Corvette content and has been promoting the C8 for some time. You have a good subscription base with in all likelihood a younger audience. Exactly who they should be prioritizing with press pass distribution. Write em' and tell them about the channel.

Great upload Mike. Like you said, it doesn't really matter where GM reveals the C8, as long as it's not Dubai. lol Of course Fargo, ND would have been nice. It's just a tad cooler in Fargo, so no risk of over-heating. :-) If the retractable hard top spider is "real, " which McLaren has already proven it can be done, that eliminates any need for a targa top as well as a soft top convertible. Then the question remains, how much room will be available in the Frunk? And no, it doesn't need to be big enough for a set of golf clubs, but big enough for a croquet set would be nice. LOL Save the Wave.

Wow!!! Fantastic, I hope they lose the Targa Top and go full on convertible as depicted, I've owned many Vette's all convertibles, this will be my next one, can't wait, it's driving me crazy with anticipation...
