Love our old 5 series beemer wagon but getting on the freeway pedal to the metal with our conv. 2014 135i it feels like a rocket ship blast off when the turbos kick in. Think it's muck faster than my last Porsche, which was a speedster, handles just as well. Cheers!

Not to mention the hydraulic steering on 135i which feels great as opposed to the electric steering on the 235i which they say has less feel to it.

I have had one of these since 2014 and it is by far the most satisfying car to drive than I have ever had. The only complaint I have is the rough road feel with the "run flat" tires that are standard with the car. I have replaced them with non run flats, and the ride is much better, without much of a difference in overall handling. For track use, I will get track tires, and blast this thing to 160 mph or more on the straightaways.

One of the last "pure" BMWs. I have a 2012 128i, 6MT, N/A I6, RWD. Love it, minus the cheap interior.

The Basic 1 coupe is a very sporting car. It stands alone in the Us market. I have a BRZ it was 26k. It is a more sporting car than the one. It is not as solid or as sable at high speeds. Every other coupe n the 30k range is ether more cramped, much larger and or more massive. Most folks that own one just want a small sporting BMW. My wife is about to pick up the 1 convertible. She likes the MX5 to noisy not much power and she needs the rear seat. She loves the way it drives. There you go.

Cooley would love driving my BMW e36 M3. Tons of feel, none of the nannies, and plenty of performance.

I own a 2009 1-Series, and I love it. I'd much rather drive the BMW 1-Series than any Japanese car, with the only possible exception being the Nissan GT-R.

My 2012 135i convertible is the most enjoyable car I have ever owned and I'm knocking on 70. Smooth as silk and very fast. I'm no car geek but I know fun when I experience it. Bound to become a much sought-after model, but I'll never part with mine.
