Concerns grow over SNP plan to seek Scottish independence

The Scottish National Party's win in parliamentary elections has put the independence debate back on the table in the United Kingdom.
The government in London is firmly opposed to Scottish independence, but the election outcome has set the stage for years of debate, worry and potential instability. That is particularly the case along Scotland's border with England.

Al Jazeera’s Jonah Hull reports from Berwick-upon-Tweed on the Scottish-English border.

I would have expected a more unbiased report from this broadcaster. Instead the usual anti-independence slant you find in the UK media. If independence is so distant and so impractical, why did the SNP crush the others parties on the constituency list? If the voting system was like Westminster and not proportional representation the SNP would have a massive majority.
