Josh Brolin Disappointed with Deadpool & Wolverine

Josh Brolin famously played the anti-hero Cable in Deadpool 2, transforming his body to get into amazing shape for the role.

He lost 30 lbs from his intensive training and diet, showing up at lean 180 lbs for filming.

The end of Deadpool 2 looked set for him to be part of a third movie, but the pivot to the Deadpool and Wolverine movie left him disappointed that he wasn’t asked to return.

Personally i think Brolin was excellent in Deadpool2. His Cable design is also top notch. Hope we can see more of his Cable soon

He'll be back, Ryan is loyal. I think it was a good decision to pivot from Cable for the MCU introduction since Wolverine is more popular and easier to link to the MCU multiverse

Yeah I was pretty disappointed to see that he wasn't in the movie. :( The guy gets a single mention from Deadpool, but other than that it's like he just vanished. Huge bummer.

He played an excellent cable I wasn’t expecting that. He should have his own franchise. Cable is a very intricate character in the marvel verse.
