My brother is a PRO Fisherman & he worked at a sports store, competed in fishing tournaments & now he does private fishing adventures. He's done "catch & release" for most of his life! This was AWESOME to see, because I've NEVER seen it happen IRL!!

one thing i appreciate is how honorable so many fisherman are when it comes to this stuff. like theres a small chance you'll get caught, but theres plenty of opportunities to just ignore this stuff, and so many dont. i grew up fishing with my uncle and it really does seem to be a code.

Reporting in on the info on the fish gives huge details about the species behavior and life cycles, so its awsome they gives gifts rewarding people to do it

I personally think people need to stop fishing rock fish for a few years. Over time, they are becoming a lot harder to hook up on, especially if your bank fishing. I have also noticed that they are smaller than years ago. All people want is some trophy, and no one seems to know or care that the large ones are the breeders.

I help tag fish with a buddy of mine. He has the machine and tags a lot of speckled trout and red drum plus black sea bass and flounder when he can. I've helped with a bunch of reds and trout. I love to help with the research to keep the fish numbers as healthy as possible.
