One thing is for sure: I wouldn't want to be a 2025 team principal. Deciding how much you focus on this year and how much on the new car, well, that's gotta be a nightmare, especially at the front of the field.

I think 2025 could be the best championship in years thanks to current rules stability, and limited development due to the incoming new rules.
Every time is the same with F1. When the rules are stable and all the teams start to get closer to each other, they reset everything and then you get one team that dominates until the rules are stable again

Actually because the regs have matured and designs converged...2025 should be exciting.

I like the look of the new car at least. Looks more like the 2000s cars. Now they just need to have the engine, aero and weight to match it.

Can't wait to see what's next!

I'm fairly sure that Alpine is just sharing a picture of one of those standard model F1 cars like they produced for 2022 that isn't actually related to the cars the teams are going to produce and probably isn't even made of carbon fibre. I remember Mercedes did a "teaser" shot that was the same.

I don’t like the way FIA wind tunnel test the details. Feels a bit like half the visible design work has been done already. I miss the days of “here are your reg boxes, do what you can”.

I remember when we were waiting for 2022 regulations and I expected '21 to be boring...oh how wrong I was.
That's why I don't want to have any expectations, especially after such a close battle between the teams in the second half...

It will be a disaster because of the dumbest set of drivetrain regulations.

The teams that haven't quite mastered the current regs should abandon it entirely and focus on 2026. I'm talking about Audi of course.

The '25 could be similar to '21 but because of mclaren improving the car to be really one of the best mclarens (in history even) in terms of competitiveness, the driver swaps and how will they get used to the car and how will car their fit their driving style from the beginning and through the season how they will be able to work with new teams and overall improve the most... And then '26 again cause of new cars, I do really hope it's going to be interesting from that same standpoint, even if the cars will be sheit cause of new regulations...

Your last video on the 2026 regs was excellent. I hadn't picked up any of that info anywhere else.
Feel sad the F1 is going in this direction. The cars will be only a handful of seconds faster than F2?

The F1 2026 car model looks so weird. I hope they end up looking nothing like that. I don't see why we can't just have a simple wing end plate and less complex elements. If it doesn't create the vortices the teams want - tough! Find a solution within the regs. We need to make the cars shorter, and not covered in tiny elements that break off easily from the front and side. The whole point of banning barge boards was to make the cars more elegant and less prone to damage and avoid an expensive aero war.

I don’t believe anyone was fully following the development timeline restrictions.

Why does F1 limit camber variably at every track?

I envy those who can get excited from F1 or Nascar… I have a feeling that in 2066 season they all will be riding bicycles…

I hope they will put an eletric motor on the frobt axle in the regulation that will come after the 2026 garbage
