The Painful Demise of Buzzfeed

With less viewership, layoffs, and pay-cuts it appears as if Buzzfeed is in bad shape, but what happened to cause this?

What killed it for me was when the original people behind Buzzfeedviolet left. Allison, Gaby, Safiya, Quinta, Eugene, and the rest of their gang-all of them really made me addicted to BuzzFeed. I was so enticed to their lives that I subscribed to their YouTube channels.
