Quantum Evolution V2 Filter Comparison Update

With the release of Quantum Evolution V2, we have redesigned the filters (bandwidth, RT60 Low, RT60 High) to provide an even closer emulation of the 1990s hardware.

The filters on the Quantum Evolution V1 were designed to emulate some characteristics of early analogue units. Due to the limited bandwidth of early 1980s hardware units, there was a rapid attenuation in frequency response from 8 kHz to 10 kHz. This resulted in a higher level of "decorrelation" and phase distortion of the signal than found in modern hardware. In V1, we attempted to capture some of these characteristics, while maintaining a full-bandwidth signal and modern sound. It is now possible to install V1 and V2 side-by-side to experience the best of both "sonic flavors."

Love it. Any plans to make a hardware pedal version at a reasonable price unlike the quantec rack?

The sound is awesome. Did you ever think about something powered by GPU audio later on?

you've done a good job on V2. But I miss the ducking feature based on transients or gain. Someone posted also an option to mid/side intensity settings.. but anyway the ducking option is really a must nowadays. I didn't talk from dis harmonic suppression or other creepy programming features. .'-)
