'Fix' spacing in Windows Explorer | Windows 11 Guide

Updated to Windows 10, but not like the 'odd' spacing between items in the Windows Explorer? Well, this video shows you all you need to know about 'resetting' that and bringing it back to the older way - not optimized for touch screens in the slightest.

This only works for File Explorer, when I right click and open any shell window, everything that's displayed is double spaced, same goes when you click in the address bar for file explorer to highlight the directory / location, I feels like Windows for kids. I'm not sure if was changed with the 23H2 update, but I don't like it. Does anyone know how to get rid of the double spacing I have described. One would think that when you went though the view tab in file explorer (folder properties), choose compact, that it would get rid of all the double spacing in explorer, but it does "not".

This works only for the files currently displayed. Once I scroll down, the space enlarges again, even with Compact View still checked. Chalk it up to yet another most annoying bug courtesy of Microsoft.

Doesn't fix my problem. Rows are still to tight and I am losing the lower sections of lowercase letters.
