I just use the assistants only. They seem to get multiple crates often.
Send all 5 to gather, then go do some heist preps or check on other businesses. No need to manually grind all the source missions.

To have the fastest and most efficient setup for crate grinding you have the wrong warehouses. I have grinded over $150, 000, 000 in just ceo crates solo and I have conducted all my own experiments and proven methods for speed and efficiency. Majority of the crate missions spawn mid to upper parts of the map, it's a lot less likely for crate missions to spawn in the lower region of the map so owning the large warehouse at the top of the city and the 4 warehouses on the right side of the map are the best locations. Pro grinder tip: park your Terrorbyte at the door of one of your warehouses so when you leave your warehouse you're inside starting up another crate mission in seconds ( This works well for the Whole Sale and Cypress warehouse ) I can fill up 2 large warehouses in 8-10 hours solo. When you have the trackify mission your crate will always be in the van (LAST RED DOT TO SPAWN) on the radar on the phone also when there are 4 crates that spawn on your radar your crate will always be in THE LAST FLASHING GREEN BOX/ van. These are just a few tips I have amongst many that makes grinding faster as you're not searching for your crate and you know exactly where it is at all times so you can focus on speed and efficiency and thus makes collecting crates a lot faster.

if i get that mission with the cops guarding the crash site all i do is park nearby and call lester on my phone then as i'm walking up to them i'll select 'remove wanted level' (it'll be greyed out becuase i'm not wanted yet) and spam the enter key so the second i get wanted lester will remove it and i can grab the crates at my leisure

So you aren't playing solo since you were driving the van while your friend was doing shooting, also every mission you turn down by going to another session costs you the $18, 000 . And 2 x 111 warehouses at 3 crates at a time will take you 74 missions some of which include shooting up autoshops or going scuba diving so all in all around 12 hours. And then the sell missions with a number of Trucks or planes or Tugboats within 30 minutes will require help. So none of this is purely solo.

Public session method...go to your network settings and adjust your mtu settings to 750 and you'll be in a open public solo session every time

what I do is I get lupe to go get me a crate then while she is doing that I am still grinding getting crates

What if you buy every large warehouse, keep sending those assistants in the warehouse to source crates? Will it work?
