One of my favorite aspects of this change to era-civs is we can have Han that isn’t “China” or Mughals that aren’t “India”. These entities share significant historical DNA but they are also distinct and rich in their own way that can be lost if you’re using some larger “macro civ” that is somehow trying to represent all.

Imagine if you could also add the Xiongnu, and add their civilizational feature: if their capital is conquered, they gain an army that has to move somewhere else, and that would mimic the Attila's conquest of Rome (very historical).

I really hope that they get "Kazimierz Wielki" for Poland. (Whether it be in a DLC or on release). He would really fit the theme that they are going for with building up your Civ.

Will there be a Polish civilization? I’m worried. Maybe it could progress from the Sarmatians/Scythians, to Slavs, then to Poles. I’m concerned because of the new age system. I’m intrigued by it, but it leaves me very worried as to what could end up being left out. I would also hate being forced into playing an ancient civilization that has no connection to Poland in the real world.
