Mr. Munger says that this development is really stupid and ridiculous.

The promise of great wealth and over-night success, without work or sacrifice is what attracts so many people, like lambs to the slaughter. It is refreshing to hear people tell it straight. I'm sure Mr. Munger and and Buffett are tough negotiators and use the eight of their financial empire to their advantage, but it sounds like these are men of principal and ethics. Their business is making money, but they also share long-term goals and it appears to me that they both excel at reading people and understand human nature. Unfortunately, their profession attracts some of the most unscrupulous, greedy, least ethical, most narcissistic people alive, not unlike the profession as a career politician of either major party in the USA.

He is 100% correct. I one day was at the bookstore and a thunderstorm rolled in. I picked up one of those books promising outrageous yearly returns that will make you really rich. I read for about 15-20 minutes. And I hope this makes sense, but I read 15-20 minutes of nothing.

The book actually said at one point that you have to research stocks and pick ones that consistently beat the S&P 500 🤣🤣🤣 I am thinking seriously? You are charging people nearly 30.00 for this book that has really nothing?!?!

You have to be realistic. If you found a true way to make 40% per year, every year on your investments, would you tell someone your strategy for 29.99? Hell no!
