Song: The Wolf and the Moon (Celtic Version)
Album: Aurora
Year: 2014
Copyright © BrunuhVille

I've decided to upload this version of the song which is included on my latest album "Aurora" . The Wolf and the Moon is one of those songs which I could create dozens of different versions and I would still have fun doing all of them. Here's the Celtic version, something I came up with very randomly actually but which sounded very decent to me and I decided to upload.
The female vocal chant in the end part comes from the amazing voice of Sharm !

Enjoy!

The mountain was barren, the rocks were frozen together. Tiny little snowflakes drifted off of the high spires of stone that rose up on either side of the lone wolf. No shelter was in sight, no pack to keep him warm at night. He could no longer smell the trace of his family, or hear their cries of boundless love and worship towards the heavens. The wind whispered through his pelt and into his ears. He took a deep breath, and lifted his head, one long, sorrowful note piercing the sky, and like an angry fist smashing through glass, the full moon shattered against the stars. Shards of it's rays echoed in large waves of green and blue. The mountain resonated with his voice. Though no howl was returned, he wasn't alone, for the spirit of his pack would forever be one with his.

There is a legend from long ago;
About a Wolf that fell in love with the Moon;
And on each full moon night;
He would cry out his love at night.
To his lover who was shining bright,
But the moon was silent, as she shone her light,
As her beloved wolf, howled out his love each night
to a rock in the moonlight sky...

When I listen to Celtic music (especially by Adrian and Brunuh), it makes me feel like the songs are retelling experiences of a past life of mine, so listening to these songs makes me so sad, but at the same time, so rejuvinated. I don't know if I'm the only one out there that feels this.... I love listening to this music, I find it also very inspiring. I wish these songs didn't have to end! Great work and keep composing please! :)

The night was cold, the night was quiet, the only voice that can be heard is his own voice, the only sound that can be heard is the sound of the wind...
He made a soft long howl but the howl wasn't too strong to reach his family and friends.But a sound returned him, It was the echo of this own voice. He took a deep breathe, lifted his head. Through the darkness of the night, a bright light revealed his soft white fur, Like an angry fist smashing through glass, the full moon shattered against the stars.He saw his shadow on the snow. He made a loud howl, A sound returned, He believed that he is not alone.He took a deep breathe and started to ran, He ran until he finds his friends and family.The spirit of Wolf is always with him....

*Even in Darker and Scary Nights You are not Alone*

The night was quiet, the night was cold. No wolf of his pack was in sight. The only voice that could be heard was that of his own breathing, the only sound that could be heard was that of light snow, brushing his fur and softly hitting the ground. He let out a long, soft howl. As the only voice that returned to him, was the echo of his own voice. Then... Through the darkness of the night, a bright light revealed his soft white fur, and the Spirit of the Wolves had softly descended from where the moon was glistening and landed on the soft snow in front of him, staring him face to face, gave him hope and guided him home.

Even in the darkest nights, you are never alone.

" Long time ago a wolf running in the cold snow in a beautiful night. The wolf has beautiful silver fur but he has a big bloody scar on her body. The wolf is really  old already so a junger and stronger  wolf challanged and defeated him. Now he run aways but then he stop running.  He was exhausted.He sit down on the snow and watched the moon. The moon is so big and shiny in that night. In that light the wolf begin to see pictures on her life. See himself when he was young and playing along her siblings, see himself on her first haunting and then see the the first wolfgirl who he is loved. Tear's begin flowing her face. Then when the pictures are over the wolf closed her eyes and he is sleeped. Forever! "

This is a story what i writed when i listened this music, i hope it's good :)

Father, can you hear me? Sometimes i wonder if my howl makes it to you. Standing here under this tree i can still remember you playing with me as if it were yesterday. So much time has now passed and i feel so alone and scared. Do i have the strength to lead my family? Why me? These thoughts race through my head as i look down upon my pack. This shadow of mine is now as big as yours once was when you use to stand behind me, but yet its darker. Here i wait for you to speak to me yet i hear nothing. If you are there, please hear my cry once

I just love this song. What incredible music. It has given me great strength for years because I played this song so many times with my wife before she died. The song also keeps the memory alive.

The wolf isn't strong without the pack and the pack isn't strong without the wolf.
The moon isn't alone as the wolf howls to it as a sense of allies
The wolf roams the frozen and forgotten lands seeking its one true ally within the skies
The sound of the wolf cuts through the air that's seeking its pack that it once lost
The moon guides the wolf for the long road of paradise for a debt to be payed
With the debt payed the moon and wolf are alone once more but their journeys are never forgotten...
The journeys have turned to stories and stories turn into legends and legends turn into myths but the wolf and the moon will forever be allies to this day as myths...

Over all I love this music, keep it up Hun and don't allow anyone else to tell you otherwise!

We are a pack, We hunt together.
In the summer in the winter
No matter wherever, We are always for each other
As a pack We hunt together

This tune almost and always gives me some new theme and muse for every of my project. I literally cried while writing one of them, while this piece played in the background, adding that much grandeur to the plot.
Thank you Brunuhville!
Thank you for letting the myths, legends and fables of the great creatures run alive in our mind. Glad to know, some more of the fellow listeners believe in them and not take them as mere fiction!

You know there is a scene in a book I'm writing where the main's character wolf companion dies, and this song made me think of that and almost cry.
Thanks you Bruno, never leave music.

This sounds like something that would be played at a celtic funeral, so heart wrenching. Lovelovelovelove it

the first 5-10 seconds reminded me of titanic.
Makes you wonder how epic a Celtic version of the titanic song would sound like.
