I Used ONLY 90s Tech for 24 Hours

The 90s was really the golden age of technological advancement, with the release of the iMac G3, the Playstation 1, and the iconic minidisc player. So I challenged myself to live with just tech from the 90s for a whole day. Did I love every minute of it? Of course I did!

I was a teen in the 90s and this really brought up some memories! I really liked PS1 and it had some great games like Parasite Eve, FF8, Harvest Moon but I was totally a N64 girl lol! I blame Zelda for that!

Loved this video - it deserves much more love! So much nostalgia for my teenage years! My MiniDisc player still has pride of place on display on the Kallax unit behind my desk 😀 In some ways, tech was even more exciting back then than it is now. But maybe that's my rose-tinted glasses looking back at those heady responsibility-free years ;)

Loved my Sony Mini Disc player. I used it daily on my commute. I still have it in a drawer somewhere!

In early 2000s I still lived in 90s by technology standard.

Technology definitely peaked with see-through phones, screens and almost everything. Can we please just bring these back ❤💚💙💜

I wish I was around for this tech but sadly I wasn’t. Would’ve been really cool to follow the progression of technology over the years :/

no no no . yeah the technology is one thing but the main thing was we actually communicated with each other we wasn't so involved in ourselves back then people were actually friendly reset hello walking down the street . that is really what separates the 90s from today

So many 'member berries 😁Great fun! The 90's seemed to have an explosion of new technology, whereas innovation just seems iterative, these days.

Looks like that iMac's in need of an OS reinstall! I'd recommend sticking with 9.2.1

Going to have to disagree with you on the Apple and PS1. Amiga 500 and N64 were my jam.

Back in 1998 when I got my first mobile we could only buy Motorolas in Brazil. There were three models. A bar model like yours, a brick one that was a bit nicer (more battery life etc, the one I chose, I always liked large phones and laptops) and the ultra expensive star tac. 😁

I had nobody to exchange SMS with, though, as people weren't used to it (and it costed money). Ended up using email or voice calls LOL.
