Ukraine might soon receive Patriot missiles – What difference would they make in the war? | DW News

The United States plans to send Patriot missile units to Ukraine to bolster its defenses against Russia's assault on its infrastructure, the White House said.
A White House official, speaking anonymously, said the Patriot air defense system "will be a critical asset to defend the Ukrainian people against Russia’s barbaric attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is set to arrive in Washington later on Wednesday when an official announcement will be made.
The move will also send a strong message to Moscow and European allies that Washington is ready to send some of its advanced missile defense weaponry to help Kyiv fight Russian invaders.

Putin to his military leaders asking for better supplies/gear to the soldiers: "We have no budget limitations". Well even if this is true, where would they find all gear needed? They do not produce all required and Rubbles as a currency will not be accepted by most countries given the sanctions.

Putin says there are no Financial restrictions the government will give the Russian military as much equipment and support as it needs. Except for: proper uniforms, helmets, body armor, reasonable accommodation, training, guns that fire safely, ammunition that is not 50 years old, Medical kits, Medical treatment, sleeping bags, or pay.

The Patriot is not a missile, it is a system of various systems working in tanden, not unlike the Israeli Iron Dome system. What makes the Patriot especially usefull is the fact that Ukraines s300 missiles can be plugged into the tracking system of a Patriot platform, greatly enhancing it's accuracy. But there is no such thing as a Patriot missile.
