I went from believing nothing was wrong with weed to getting addicted, and then realizing how much of a battle it was quitting and understood how its still a drug that can take control of the body. Many people can’t quit and just tell themselves “nothing is wrong with weed/it’s only weed” because they can’t face the reality of quitting since it’s so difficult to do.

Cannabis addiction is a huge problem as many people don’t believe it is addictive. And not to mention there are a bunch of gas stations and smoke shops that don’t check IDs making it easier for teenagers to buy these products.Cannabis addiction is absolutely real.I was hooked on delta 8 for about 3 to 4 months. What started as experimental use turned into a 30$ a week drug habit. The Indica strain was my primary choice.I would blow through an entire disposable in a week.It was eating up all my money.Like most people struggling with an addiction problem I didn’t think there was an issue until I tried to stop.I tried to quit solo it only worked for a few days at most.I began cleaning up my act in late October. My mother held on to my money for about a month while going through withdrawal.I am proud to say that I am four almost 5 months Pot free!

I'm 2months free from smoking weed. Since then I've been taking cbd gummies along with 3mg melatonin to help me sleep. Now about to quit the gummies. Not taking bong hits every night has greatly improved my life.

Been a daily weed smoker for 10 years, smoking easily 2 grams a day through a bong everday and have tried quitting several times but always relapsed after less than 24hrs (yes I know that is pretty weak and not proud about it whatsoever). 3 days ago I decided enough is enough. Threw my bong, grinder, lighters, trays, anything related to smoking weed straight into the garbage. Best decision I've ever made to help me quit. Knowing how much of a hassle and expensive it will be to start smoking again is helping me from starting up ever again. This is the longest I've ever been sober in a decade. If you're struggling like I was try throwing your stuff in the garbage like I did. Looking forward to being sober for the rest of my life

you're right about seeing more problems on the rise too, it's been glorified as a harmless plant for so long by media and entertainment which probably rendered true when it wasn't as potent and only consumed traditionally through smoke. but these new forms of consumption is allowing people to basically overdose on thc and were seeing issues because of it such as CHS. keep up with the informative videos brother!

I’m on day 45 without weed after smoking almost every day for the last 7 years. I’ve tried to quit 3 times recently, but this is the longest I’ve gone and I haven’t had any cravings or interest in smoking again. I feel so much more clear headed and in control of my mind.
