Don't Store Your Cologne Here! #Shorts

Unfortunately, direct sunlight can quickly degrade fragrances. Heat also affects them as it breaks down the chemical bonds that give a perfume its scent. Direct heat is not only bad for the fragrance, but it can warp or melt plastic bottles, and even lower heat over the long term breaks down perfume.

I keep mine in my closet, it’s walk in, for the most part a dark and temperate area so not too hot or cold just perfect.

I could not imagine storing all the bottles in their original boxes, so can't take this advice seriously. the bottles are beautiful. they are like a trophy. why not recommend storing it in a place away from sunlight such as an enclosed cabinet.

Certain bottle materials actually prevent sunlight like Drakkar Noir or Creed Irish Tweed. Honestly this should be the gold standard for perfume bottles.

That's why I don't understand why in most of the fragrances stores they have those beautiful brands stands with all those fancy spots and lights right under the flasks tester and getting pretty warm.... TOTALLY WRONG 🙅🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I keep all my fragrances in their original box and in a shelf in my room away from the sunlight and in a moderate temperature.

My brother has had the same bottle of JPG Lemale in his car glove box for years and somehow it still smells amazing

Ugh just take the fragrances out the box and put it on the self ! Close your window and blinds from time to time you will be JUST FINE! USE YOUR FRAGRANCES!!!
