Classful addressing has several disadvantages compared to the more modern Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) approach.

Excellent video. Just one suggestion: Its impossible to purchase a block of exact size 1000. You can only get a block of form 2^n-2 usable hosts. So for 1000 you have to choose the next higher closest power of 2 minus 2, that is 1022. This is why ISPs, buy a single block and apply VLSM on that to create several subnets and monitor that for uptime as per their SLAs.

Sir ek question haal hi mein aaya tha JOA (IT) ke exam mein share kar rha hoon please sahi answer bataye mujhe doubt hai.

If the size of short data type in a C implementation is 2 bytes, then what is the maximum value that can be stored in a variable with this type?
A. 16384
B. 65536
C. 32767
D. 32768

Maine answer diya hai B because 8 byte means 16 bit it means 2^16 wo banta hai 65536 par answer key ke according answer hai C par kaise samjh nhi aaya please sir batayein, aur haan mein aapka regular viewer hoon aapki ki vajah se hi mein JOA(IT) exam mein bakiyon se mein achha score kar paya, thank u so much.

can anyone tell me if like agr koi 1024 address ke damn kr rha hia..and cant we connect any other person who is demandinf 2000 adress both in same NetId? I mean i dont understand the concept ke agr 64 thousand adresses hai 1 netid mai. and we allot only 1024 out of them, so cant the left out adresses be used for some host to fulfull its requirement?
