Glad to see a Guild import in your list. They're great guitars at an affordable price-point and I absolutely love mine.

I've had my Fender CD-140SCE for 11 years now. Bought in 2009 in North Carolina. It's still my primary acoustic. A few adjustments is all it has ever needed.

I myself was in the Donna High Mariachi 2003-2006. Some of the most action packed performances I've had the pleasure to be in during my youth.

Love these reviews. I appreciate that you have done a million guitar reviews and probably loads of these reviews of the best guitars for beginners, but if you are expecting would-be beginner guitarists to watch a video review of beginner guitars I would like to see you briefly explain the different body shapes first, that you have on offer in the review and what they might do for the sound, and then point them in the direction of a more detailed explanation of body shapes, that you no doubt, have already made. You did mention most of the other features fairly quickly (bracing, a few woods, nut width, neck shape, laminates and solid woods) which was good, but again, you've probably made the effort to explain these in more detail in other video's so it would be helpful to send them in the direction of those videos too. You've probably mentioned all these details in each of the single guitar reviews you have linked to but you probably have a few general buyers guides too which may be easier for a beginner to watch. Loved the tone of the Epiphone Texan, Martin Sapele, Fender CC, Taylor Academy, Other Taylor (the last one) and then Martin RX. Andy Powers is a magician. For me he has improved the sound of the Taylor's, no end.

I like this fellow. He seems to be informed, and he communicates very well. My only complaint would be the playing samples; they sound muddy on my speakers.

Mission, Tx born and raised here. I have the same story. Really wanted to learn to play so my parents also went to Mexico and bought me one. It was beautiful, but it was also so painful that I stopped and gave up. Here I am, approaching 40 and still want to learn to play. Now I hear about this thing called “action” and even “low action” and I’m like WTF!?! Where was this when I wanted to learn as a kid? Now my son wants to learn, so we started him on Ukulele lessons with the plan that he moves to guitar in two years if he sticks with it. And while he’s at it, I’m going to give it another try. This time with a low action electric and acoustic. Your vids are full of great info by the way.

I am researching beginner guitar before embarking on lessons when I stumbled on your video. I married someone from Rio Grande Valley, (hired Brownsville University Mariachi at our wedding) and your story is super funny and cool!

I've been playing guitar for 7 years and I'm actually about to buy the Guild d240e. Honestly I think this guitar sounds absolutely fantastic and is affordable. Very excited to get it.
