As an Air Force vet and former NCO with time served in the desert, this is really cringe to me. If I were one of these new cadets, I probably wouldn’t be thinking that of course, but looking back now with my current level of experience, this doesn’t work for me. I feel like the only person with enough credibility to talk to me in this manner would have to be an NCO who is an MTI at a minimum. No offense to this cadet captain, as he’s doing the best he can do, but his military experience at this point is limited to the Academy.
