More than 100 schools and colleges have been told by the Department for Education (DfE) to partially or fully shut buildings - just days before the start of the new school year - over fears about the safety of facilities built with reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (RAAC).

Schools minister Nick Gibb told Sky News the government has been invested in resolving the unsafe concrete issue since 2018, after the collapse of RAAC in a school in Kent.

Our priority was ensuring all of this stayed under the radar until it became Labours problem.

What rubbish! Proactive would have been not slashing the schools budget after 2010! Proactive would have meant allocating budgets URGENTLY in 2018!

We are back to 1997, when after 18 years of Tory misrule and utter incompetence, schools and hospitals were crumbling, leaking and collapsing.

We have just had another 13 years of utter chaos, and mismanagement of taxpayer money.

I beg to differ, tory priorities are not aimed at looking after the youth.
If the youth were a priority, then this mess wouldn't be happening.

Complete and utter tory incompetence. Again. We deserve better than these con artists.

A priority that they've known about for at least 8 months (an independent channel called A Different Bias made a video on this in January) but not done anything about except for closing some schools 12 hours before they were due to open. I'd hate to think about what's not a priority... perhaps the immigration system? Tories out.

Tories cut budgets for programs that benefit the public to give kickbacks to their donors.
Well known since - at least - the 80s.

If Britons still vote for them, they have to assume responsibility for the consequences!
