They have said the AWD will get worse efficiency by about 10%. The battery sizes will obviously also impact the efficiency by ~1-2% per battery tier due to battery weight. Also level 1 is not 15A sustained its 12A. ~1.4 KW. 6.6 level 2 isn't likely; good chance we will have 3.3 based on latest official statements by Aptera staff in the forum. Combined cargo / passenger weight limit for most of the listed vehicles is 800-950lb (which basically means no cargo if you fill the seats).

Thanks for the information and nice video. As a Nissan leaf owner it's good to see it is the most affordable 4 wheeled car.

Another thing to take into consideration is the insurance and or interest rate of financing. I got 0% with a leaf but if I would have went with the Tesla model 3 it would have been 8%.

fyi... the Tesla M3 has an MPGe of about 125. I also think your Watts/mile numbers are all low. My M3 averages about 250, yet it's still better than any other EV (except Aptera of course). We own a M3 and a MY, and I'm buying an Aptera for my son. You didn't cover this, but the total cost of ownership is incredibly low.

It is nice that you worked up all of the comparative numbers. But you really need to add the line that shows the pre-tax subsidy price (for all models) for transparency. There is no certainty that the Aptera will get the $7, 500, and even if it does qualify for some subsidy, it could be only for a motorcycle subsidy of $2, 500. Also some of the qualifications specify a minimum 40kWh capacity, so the 25kWh entry model Aptera may not qualify for the full subsidy (if it does get approved). At the least, it gets people confused, but others would expect the full subsidy and be angry (at Aptera) if the bill doesn't pass and the EV costs $7, 500 more. Also, you need an asterisk for everything from the Aptera's acceleration, to the range, efficiency, MPGe, charging speeds, and solar range capabilities. I also really want the Aptera to reach its anticipated performance and efficiency goals, and be wildly successful, but it is vital to be clear about what information is known, and what is just proposed/estimated at this point.

Where are you getting $17, 900 for base Aptera? It's $25, 900 at the moment. I haven't doubled checked all your other EV base price assumptions, but they all appear too low.

How can you compare as you do. The Aptera is not a car.
