Bought it today, played for hours. I loved it, although it’s not a perfect replacement for the sims games.

I enjoyed the demo but wasn't sure about paying money which is why I'm here. I guess I'll be playing Sims 3 for the rest of my life which isn't so bad lol unless Paralives is super awesome which I'm hopeful for, please don't let me down Alex. Lol. Thanks for the video!

EA OWNS The Sims but it was made by Maxis. Kind of stung a little bit every time you said EA made The Sims. They sell it, own it, and have ultimate control over where they series goes, yes, but especially with The Sims 1, it wasn't made by them.

I'm sure you knew that already but it just kind of bugged me regardless. Good review though, I'm pretty hopeful to see where this game will go in the future. Playing a new Sims style game without giving money to EA is going to be great.

I see black here. Almost nothing has happened since the demo a year ago. You'd think the poor graphics with virtually no animations and not even faces would free up a lot of resources for deep, rich gameplay. But the game is virtually a 1:1 clone of Sims, including Rabbitholes, maximally stupid AI, redundant, superfluous options in the action wheel. Really a pity. I would have celebrated a "Sims" with simple graphics and deep gameplay, but I wouldn't know why I need a Sims that just has worse graphics and fewer features than the original. What's the selling point?

I just bought this and wish I waited, going to request a refund. Every con/issue you mentioned is what I noticed within the first 2 hours of gameplay and it got pretty annoying unfortunately. I can see this game being so fun and addicting once these issues are fixed!

I love this game but its definitely lacking in a lot of areas that im hoping they provide updates for soon. I will say, building in this game, though sometimes a little annoying, is SO fun for me due to the art style. This game is beautiful and you can still tell how much love wss put into it despite its flaws
