How guys like Riggle can go from war zone to war zone, to ground zero, back to war and still have such an amazing sense of humor and a sort of fundamental kindness is astonishing. Thankyou for your service and all you have done to help our country in the aftermath of the attacks. Truly incredible.

I've always just known him as a funny actor, had no idea he had this in his background. Reminds me we all have our own stories, things we've been thru that no one would ever guess by looking at us or even talking to us for a while,

I did the same thing Rob did, but at the Pentagon. 3rd US Infantry. We found a lot of human remains there.

As a reserve member myself, I have a greater respect and view of him now. You would never know it.

Ace, requesting a separate interview of his time in Afghanistan. Very few service members were in the 'stan in Nov 2001 and the public was unaware for a long time.

Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we need

“Not a sound” terrible to think of everyone’s brain being on the same wave length of terror and uncertainty.

They forgot to mention a really unlikely Marine, Don Adams of Get Smart fame. Fought on Guadalcanal during WWII. Got malaria and spent a year in a hospital despite Malaria being an almost death sentence back then.

Hey Carolla crew. I know it’s probably a pain in the rear to up load the video of the show every day but I know if you did that I would watch it.

I’m a short time listener. Probably a year and a bit but I haven’t missed one since I started.

Just a thought. Maxapada probably has a hour or 2 free to post it.
