Surface Pro 11 | One Month Later: Snapdragon X Elite Changed Everything. Best Surface Ever!

Been using the Microsoft Surface Pro 11 for more than a month now, and I think the Snapdragon X Elite chipset changes the entire user experience. Battery life is way better now. Here's my thoughts.

Tablet PCs are the future with ARM chipsets, but Windows isn’t optimized for ARM yet, unlike Apple’s Mac OS. If they don’t fix that, Windows is going to get replaced by an OS that can compete with Macs and is fully optimized for ARM. There are a few that come to mind that could replace Windows as an OS—Google Chrome OS and Android-based systems like Samsung Dex. Dex stands out because, in the future, people might only use their phones as computers. Phones are already more powerful than traditional computers, and with their tablet and foldable builds, it’s just a matter of time.

Thx for the review. Many users on reddit have mentioned that the OLED panel is not that great and it has a "screen door" effect - where the text on white background doesn't look sharp and colour accurate. Do you also notice that? And do you know if the panel is a 8-bit or 10-bit colour panel?

I'm a user of Surface Pro for a decade or more. my main issue with it is the overheating during continuous zoom calls (more than 2 hours) and wireless projection (more than 3 hours). Had burnt 2 surface pros before i release what's the problem.
Wonder if any1 has experienced with this on the Surface Pro 11?

Such a great concept, but with Lunar Lake and Ryzen Whatevertheheckit'scalled out now, I don't know why you would pay a premium for the Arm software penalty.

how long lasts battery when usin lightroom classic? my old surface pro 8 is completely empty after 1 hour and gets hot like fire that I burn my fingers.

Surface nih model laptop agak ketinggalan dari segi desain, macbook/ipad aja udah layar atas samping bawah tipis semua, ini bezelnya malah setebal harapan orangtua. Lawak mulu

All these AI stuff are now on all Windows laptops, from Snapdragon to Intel Lunar Lake to AMD Strix. This is not specific to the SP11 and is a bit misleading.

I used the SP11 for a while, but I found it disappointing. Windows on tablets still aren't great, and most people would have a much better experience if they bought a tablet and laptop combo, especially since the SP11 is quite pricey.

Battery life could be better, much less than other X Elite devices. I get 6-8 hours of SOT, which is below average compared to even the Core Ultra #1 machines I have used. Probably the OLED display and a small battery.
