Today I’m back at Disneyland for the grand re-opening of Finding Nemo! After a very lengthy refurbishment the attraction is finally back open for everyone’s enjoyment. But the big question is what changed during its closure.

I do feel like Disney has been taking a VERY long time to do anything lately. Especially when you compare to Universal who’s building an entire park in FL and a new themed land in CA in such a short time.

Disney overhyping Galaxy’s Edge and misleading people on attractions and interactions were glossed over by many. It’s good to criticize for the betterment of the park and the experience. I think the Submarine Ride and Autopia should be leveled and a new attraction should be built on that decently large footprint. I also want to see Tomorrowland get a massive facelift.

I ate a Black tap, that was a fun place a couple weeks ago. I got a super pink ice cream drink. I did go to universal and the Warner bros lot tour. I loved the Warner bros lot tour.

Everything Disney said was true though. Brighter and enhanced. I think you need to check out the way it looked before the shut down. The projections we're washed out and dim. The coral was faded. The lighting has been improved.

I expect the treehouse to be equally disappointing. Pirates was also down all that time and there is still a lot not working. When I was there last Thursday, only 1 of the 4 turntables was working. Probably the simplest effect in the ride, and they still can’t keep them moving.

I'm with you Dylan. There's so many things Disney could do but they are choosing the easy way out to save money and line the shareholders pockets. I always imagine the things I'd do if I was the CEO.
