I Tried Stock Options Trading For a Week

In this video we tried stock options day trading on robinhood. This is very different than the regular buying and selling of stocks, it's a lot more risky. Options allow people to make large profits with little capital but at the expense of taking a huge risks. Quick side note, you do have to have over twenty five thousand dollars in your account to day trade stocks, options are not exempt from them PTD rule. This video is for entertainment purposes only.

I've been diving deep into stock options and been paper trading them for the last few days. I've read countless books on financial literacy and investing, along with dropshipping (another sale today) investing is my next source of income. I've invested in stocks for long term growth, but now getting into scalping options. Definitely money to be made if done right, and taken all emotion out of the trading.

Great to see you had an amazingly profitable week, just be mindful with dollar cost averaging, you are highly likely too take small or moderate wins when you do this, but the magnitude of your losses will be enormous.
I'd advise not to dollar cost average and if you loose just take the "L", its a part of the game. The wins hopefully make up for them.

Also, I love buying PUT contracts over actually shorting a stock. Shorting technically has an unlimited down side, whereas with PUTs you know exactly what your maximum risk is every trade.

Thank you for making this video and doing this! I jumped into the market about a month ago. Knew nothing about it, it's always seemed really confusing to me in the past so didnt bother with it. But, I understood most of it after doing some myself in robinhood. Now Im wanting to start doing option swing trading and for whatever reason I just could not wrap my mind around options completely, it just didnt make full sense to me. Been thinking you buy your option or put then need to actually pay for the stock you got the option for and people make these annoying videos explaining it way too in depth which just left me even more confused! But, honestly, how you explained it at the start was simple and to the point and I get it now! You're only going to sell the option itself, not the actual shares :D Thank you!! :D <3
