The saddest part of this is her admitting that she was raised to go find a man to take care of her, put food on the table and a roof over her head. It explains all of her behavior. First dude went to jail, so she started hooking up with other people so that she could shack up with them. She more than likely had unprotected sex on purpose because she assumed that the dude would be more like to stick around if she got pregnant.
