I bought this plane on your recommendation after watching this video . Me and my two boys seven and ten year old took it to a pretty big field and flew it . We had a combined 0 hours of any RC experience . My seven year old put it in two trees we were able to recover it .We crashed it probably five times were all pieces came off two wings and two tale pieces. Had a hell of a time, no major damage luckily but a couple scratches very challenging but fun definetly worth a120$

After getting a drone, I never really thought much about planes till this video. I really think this is a plane for my future self. It's slow, easy flying, especially low to the ground, and won't break the first time I crash it. I've already bought the 12428 because of you guys and enjoyed that alot. So I may be saving for this. I have had one of these for awhile and I can honestly say that it is awesome. You can practice sport flying with confidence the gyro will save you from crashes. Well done Ohio model products.

Even though I've never flown an RC plane before, I ordered this last week because of your review. It came in yesterday and I (and the airplane) had our maiden flight today. Having been a drone guy for a while (although I have flown actual airplanes), the transition to the fixed wing is a bit of an adjustment. Yes, I crashed a few times (once into a tree), but it's no worse for wear. The first good landing is so satisfying!


Suffice to say y'all are right about this plane. Thank you for the honest reviews and infecting another person with the fixed wing RC bug!

I've been flying drones for a long time, but have been wanting to try planes for a while. I didn't want to spend a lot of money to learn, but this one looks like a winner. Always enjoyable to view your review again. If you want more authority, use 3S 450mah battery with 5" prop. I fly a few batteries with the new setup, it is perfect. It can do plunge to the sky without any problem

I have war bird and it is easy to fix but I dont think I'll ever be able to fly completely out of beginner mode.When it gets out there far I loose orientation and it flys to far I just shut in down and go find it.Ive jad to glue wing back on, landing gear b as co on, glut and control back tail when ripped out of foam.
