Understanding these 2 concepts will instantly to improve your footage and prevent it from being jerky and stuttering during playback. Many mistakenly think the shutter speed with changes in the frame rate, that is dead wrong, this basic explanation will help correct that.

I've watched a lot of YouTube videos on Mavic Air and general drones. Your expertise cuts right to the point and gets me answers right away...thank you very much! I think you should combine your advice into a organized, printable document (PDF) so we can print it, spiral bind it, add tabs, and highlight in yellow those areas which will take us directly to the settings out in the field to prepare our drones for each new flight.

I was always a auto setting guy, but slowly moving to manual setting ( a learning process). I think my Mavic Pro and camera videos on You Tube will slowly improve with these manual settings.

Why double it though? Why not use exposition of 1/25th sec and get more blur? Would it be to much? If so why not at least keep it lower when shooting 60fps? Why would you always double it?

Are you using Final Cut Pro x for your timeline? And if so when you add the footage from your drone are you adding the “raw” footage into the 30fps timeline?
