I tend to thrift a lot and honestly don't know if the things i thrift are still in production. If i know that the thrift shop has multiple of the thing i bought I'll tell someone (unless they gave me a weird look the last time i told them that something was thrifted) where i got it. Though if I know that the place I thrifted the item from doesn't have duplicates I'll tell them the thrift store but let them know that I grabbed the last one.

I don't tell people where i got most of my clothes from, cuz that was when i was unaware of fast fashion, and i don't want them to think i'm cheap or i don't care about fast fashion or stuff like that. I'm scared of being judged 😢

In my senior year of high school I “adopted” an underclassman. This was really common in my school befriend an underclassman, show them around, give them tips about certain teachers, help them get settled. When I graduated we stayed in contact. Mind you I graduated at 17 and he was 15-16 and we were completely platonic nothing weird happening. But I let people get into my head about being a graduate with a friend still in high school. I started cutting him out of plans and hanging out with our mutual friends without him, making dumb excuses about why we couldn’t talk. A month went by where we didn’t talk to eachother and he got into a car accident and died.

I’m going to spend the rest of my life regretting that the last memories he has of me I was being a bad friend. If you have an issue with your friend, talk it out. Don’t be the coward who slowly pulls away for stupid ass reasons.

okay but my literal best friend started talking and snapping a guy like as soon as I mentioned that I kind of like him... so we met him at the same place and I just like immediately thought he was so cute and so nice and like at first she was like oh yeah he's just a really cool guy, he's like hella friendly and I really bought it. then as we were leaving the occation we met him at I asked him his snap and homegirl joined in and added him too and I was like okay sure whatever. tell me why now that I've been hanging out with him, she is ALWAYS tryna be there. and then after we see him she's gushing about how she might be getting a crush on him and I'm like?? girl you better not.

The only good gate keeping is keeping thrift stores quiet so resellers don’t flood them and prevent actual low income people getting the things they need / causing shops to up their prices intensely, again, causing low income people to get what they need. That’s what thrift shops are for. Other than things like that? Gate keeping has become the worst. I remember asking someone for hair tips to fix my damage and she just laughed at me because she didn’t want someone else having “hair as good as hers”. Like girl I don’t care about looking good or whatever you can have the points, I just wanna fix 10+ years of box bleach & dye damage

This girl was so sweet, I remember once in like 8th grade I told a girl I liked her dress, and she legit told me what store she got it at and what section of the store it would be in!! She was literally the sweetest thing 😊

I had a friend who got mad at me (because I finally said yes to hanging out with another friend and didn’t hang out with her for a few hours that week) and she actively pursued the 2 people I had told her I was interested in. Then, she seemed to have an issue when I, for very good reasons like racism and bad communication, lost interest in one of them.

Tbh I just forget it, I buy my clothes from cheap market where the shops don't really have specific names, they're just vendors who sell on specific days and don't on others.
So even if I want to tell them, they probably won't be able to find the same thing or pinpoint the vendor, best i can do is tell the market name 😂 or the name of the vendor.

Omg so story time bc it’s late and my whole family’s asleep and im bored 😍

So last year we had an out of state school field trip to a pretty populated area, so the teachers told us to coordinate our group so we’d all wear the same colors. Now, my group I had some friends in but it was mostly those toxic girls who think they’re better than everyone else. Even tho we were TOLD to match, a group chat was made and the girl that made it purposely left me out and told me the wrong color. Thank God for my bsf who took screenshots of the gc and showed me and then when I showed up matching im like “yeah I had a hunch yall were wearing pink” it felt so good to show them but im ngl it was pretty depressing being purposely left out

That last one actually happened to me at a group sleepover, I was one of the girls out of 5 to not get a shirt (I think my cousin also didn’t get one but her and another one of the girls left early). I ended up walking home because the one who was the birthday girl started getting too crazy (play pushing and hitting me and the other girl). We’re neighbors so it wasn’t that bad, so I called my mom so she could let me in the house at like 3-4 in the morning. So basically what happened was that friend and I started to get mad at each other & she said I could go home, so I did & she had the audacity to start calling me and texting and saying that I freaked her out since I just disappeared. That whole night she had been having a attitude towards my cousin (they stopped being friends shortly after), and chose one of the girls to specifically hang out with (which happens at EVERY one of her sleepovers).

I had a friend that kept going after the boys I thought were cute so when I actually got a crush she was mad that I didn’t tell her who. I finally told and she tried to sleep with him. It didn’t work and he ended up leaving the school because she was so aggressive with her advances.
