Im stunned by the almost robotic perfection in the way you make your knives and sheaths. Brilliant.

I’d really like to thank you for sharing your considerable talent and skill with those of us who have a genuine interest in doing this for our knife collection.Having to ship off a knife to have a kydex sheath created is simply unthinkable for me especially living in Canada as the border crossing has developed into the Bermuda Triangle of knives.Again thank you for your kindness, you’ve given me one more way to enjoy my blades

My first sheath made with your instructions and it looks perfect, without any flaws. You cannot make it wrong with this guide. Many thanks

As an another (humble and less experienced) knifemaker i love to watch your videos for the calm precision you work with and the consistency of your results, which indicates the amount of time you spent trying different solutions and perfecting your procedures. Your approach is very scientific, totally dig it. Great work, keep it up!

I love that you added links for all materials, shows that you care about us a community and you want to see us succeed! Great sheath, some day I'll have one of your knives and a sheath to go with it!

There's an elegance to your videos that aren't found in other tutorials, almost relaxing to watch. Those blade scales though... 10/10, perfect.

I cannot emphasize enough what a help you are to beginning knifemakers, Aaron. Vids like this are huge. Mad respect for the crispy clicking sound you’re getting upon retention. I’m 10 sheaths in, snd still can’t replicate it!
Yours sounds like the shutting door of a luxury lexus sedan. Mine sounds like a honda civic door. Cheers! 👍👍

Hi Aaron, I've been binging through your videos and I just wanna take the time to thank you for all the great information and effort you've put into your work. From the things I've learned, you make bladesmithing very approachable for beginners especially those on a budget. I look forward to more videos. Keep up the great work!

Very good video I especially liked the press you made. Had a pretty good chuckle at "Did you add the drain". I have an old drinking buddy in new Hampshire that is a smith that adds three drain holes at 90 degree increments to each other on his D2 hunting knives. I had to ask him about it because I didn't see the purpose but some folks prefer to wear a blade sideways across the belt. Some to look tacticool I suppose but others find it less intrusive. Having just bought some smaller EDCs I'm kinda leaning that way myself as they are more comfortable than my bushblades to carry around because they don't dangle like a tumor.

looked at many video's for making kydex sheaths all very complicated but as with your knife making videos I've followed before, this is very simple and very easy to follow!! thank you.

Thank you sir. I was considering having someone make me a sheath for a Gerber knife I have and thought I would see what was available on YouTube for a DIY Kydex sheath. Yours is the first video I watched and learned everything I need to know to get started. I am a YouTube addict, and I can assure you, it is a rare thing to get enough information from the first video reviewed that no further research is required. Again, Thank you sir.
