The Difference Between A Wolf And A Dog: Steak!
First let me say that yes, Bob got a steak. It's dinner time and as hard as I try I just can't get Bob to eat raw, he wants everything cooked. When I cook the food Honey doesn't like it, she wants hers raw. As you can see if I put two raw steaks down Honey will take them both leaving nothing for Bob. So I cook Bob's and let Honey have hers as is. Because if it's cooked Honey will leave it alone and Both are happy. : )

Honey is eating the fat off the steak first. That will do her good for the coming winter. She will eat the red meat eventually but the fat is what she needs/wants first. Thank you very much for sharing both your domesticated dog and your Wolf.

It is stuff like this that contributes to my theory that the domesticated homo sapien and the domesticated canine influenced each other's evolution - we co-evolved together. Conventional wisdom is that dogs are less intelligent than wolves because they rely on humans for pretty much everything, and defer to them. Perhaps this makes them less intelligent, but it certainly shows that they are inherently more wise than wolves even if it's just an instinct (and I think it's more than that). There are two animals that will acknowledge a request from a another species for help resolving a problem and then deliver the necessary help - they are homo sapiens and the domesticated canine. No other Earthly animal, including Chimpanzees, have demonstrated this cognitive ability associated with base wisdom.
