Bringing a wolf to the park is like marching a Roman Legion to an Armani fashion show.

They make great companions. I had one in Canada. She was 90% Timberwolf. Took 3 years to tame her. She lived to be 19 years old. Adorable sweetheart but always testing and testing the limits and boundaries

I used to have one. 7/8ths wolf, one part malamute. When all the dogs in the neighborhood started barking at night Lobo would let out a howl and ever dog would immediately go quiet and stay that way for like 20 minutes. Almost as if they were like "WTF IS THAT!?!?" They instinctually knew he was different. 😅

I had a timber wolf and German Shepherd mix. Best dog ever!! He never left the yard and was a great babysitter with his human siblings. He never barked and only howled which sounded so beautiful. I miss him very much ❤️

In the early 90s my dad took me to a place I was probably 6 and picked my puppy. This dog grew and grew and grew lol. Monster animal and he had the same effect. He was tested and found to be a full blown Russian wolf. I am not kidding you when I say how amazing of an animal he was. We lived in Vegas and it had to be kept secret because they would take him. He would come behind me and growl and sense we grew up together people thought he was going to bite or mad. Nope that just bowe saying he loves me. He got put down in my arms when I was a sophomore in high School and it seriously can't replace the bond I had with that animal. All dogs go to heaven! I can't wait to see him again. He was my best friend ever.

I have a Timberwolf/Siberian Husky. They are huge and not like any other dog. They are trained by their bond they have with you rather than food motivated. You can’t leave them alone because they feel they are being punished. The loyalty to our kids is insane. They are beautiful

I had a Mexican Gray Wolf. She lived to be 14 years old. Smartest animal I have met to this day. When my nephew was born, she would snuggle next to him and not let strangers near him. She was perfect in every way!

I had a 3/4 wolf until I was about 13. Guy my parents got her from had property bordering Yellowstone. He had a half wolf and no neighbors anywhere near him so its obvious the father was a full wolf. She was incredibly sweet to people, did very well around other dogs but was a straight up killer. She would dig out of our yard and come back days later with deer or antelope pieces. She wouldnt eat dog food unless we mixed at least some raw hamburger in it. And she absolutely loved me. She would try to escape and follow me anytime I left the house.

I've met a wolf. Absolutely stunning being. I hesitate to call it an animal. This wolf was a very very intelligent being. Looked at us all with a very solid and expansive ownership of the area. You can feel their power. And to see how they purposefully use self control... It's awesome inspiring.

Had a Timberwolf growing up. My dad only had to knock him out once during his "I am the alpha" stage.

He was the best pet in the world after that for the rest of his life. I will forever miss him. I'm so glad we gave him a full life
