I am going thru some of the same as Joan. I am a born again believer and I have CFS, autoimmune disease, toxic mold exposure among other infirmities. I have been praying for years for God to help me to surrender so I can find His love and forgiveness. I know He loves me and forgives me, but my heart got hard from letting heartbreak and the world get in my heart. I thought I had been repenting, but what I’m hearing Joan say is that I need to keep repenting and not stop and to get to the place of surrender to Him, whether He heals me or not.
