And for a SHORT period of time. 3-4 days tops. Do NOT get addicted to Suboxone or methadone. Your way better off being pill/dope sick for 4-7 days vs getting addicted to the opiate blockers. Withdrawals from long term buprenorphine users can last 60-200 days!!!

These people are the devil. It took me 3 months to kick Buprenorphine with over a month a half of physical symptoms! Glad to say I’m still off the pain meds!

When I went to the emergency at the hospital or go see any doctor and tell them I'm on methadone they judge me straight away it's sad they look like I'm a junkie

Im now 40 days off Suboxone. No longer cold, we’ll I guess like the average person now. I was always hot, but the restless legs are now gone, I can sleep, nap, eat, smile, energy is coming back, but I am doing a lil coke. Lol not gonna lie but mostly sober now, overall my mental is amazing and im never doing a sub again. Have control on waking up and not having to do a line of sub to continue living.

Methadone liquid handcuffs Suboxone withdrawals lasted 6 weeks for me. Also Suboxone and methadone are 100x stronger than perks. Most people that go on methadone or Suboxone never get off.

Being a kappa receptor antagonist, buprenorphine has a more interesting pharmacological profile than methadone. The kappa receptor activity (either agonism or antagonism) seems to be common for morphinans with the n-methylcyclopropyl substitution. It also indicates some potential novel applications like psychiatric problems related to mood and behavior disorders, or at least a useful tool for drug research as it isn't optimized for this field due to the wider pharmacological profile.
The problem, however, lies in the same characteristic responsible for its relatively high safety: it is a partial mu agonist. While it means less risk for an overdose, it may be an unfavorable substitution because it is incapable of preventing the withdrawal symptoms on the highly tolerant opioid dependents, for example, the ones addicted to extremely potent benzimidazole opioids designer drugs sold as research chemicals such as etonitazene (1000-1500 times more potent than morphine), or fentanyl analogs.

Month by month i am reducing my dosage .. year back my buprenorphine dosage was 4 mg a day but now i am on 0.2 mg a day . Soon i will leave this too..hope for the best 👍

As someone who has taken both methadone and suboxone I must say that doctors SHOULD NOT prescribe merhadone ever! Go with suboxone methadone is very bad for your body and EXTREMELY difficult to quit. It may keep u clean using methadone but the long term effects are atrocious

Im on day 10 off suboxone after 10 years. No withdrawl at all. Sleeping great. Feel positive and emotional in a very good way. How did I quit after 10 years and have no withdrawls?

From just about everything I've read and heard, doctors grossly over prescribe Suboxone.
I know someone personally who were prescribed an 8mg strip and he said that was way way too much and that he felt perfectly fine the entire day taking only 1mg.
I read a testimonial of another guy who was prescribed one 8 mg strip twice a day, and he said he couldn't imagine using that much when 2 mg keeps him perfectly fine for 24 hours, and he had a hefty heroin addiction.
He went on to say that he had stockpiled literally hundreds of strips over the course of a year.
No wonder there's so much of this drug on the black market, and for those taking unnecessarily huge doses no wonder their withdraw is h*ll on earth when they try to get off Suboxone.

Don’t get addicted to methadone the withdrawals are way worse I wouldn’t say worse then fentanyl but a much longer period.

But getting suboxone in the E.D. Can cause precipitated withdrawal and that is way worse than regular WD

Last year i was given 16 mg and it doesn't work for my withdrawals, , methadone works best for me, , but the withdrawals after taking it was like imagine your a helicopter propeller or the hands on a clock since i was circkling and changing my position every minute while trying to sleep 💤

Methadone is very hard to dose. It has half life of 48 hours +. I prefer suboxone

A lot of ERs won't even treat people going through withdrawal's it's sad

I'm disabled and in chronic pain prolapsed disc, damaged, coccyx tailbone, pilonidal sinus disease, which has damaged spinal nerves connecting to anal fistulas. Double groin hernia s, burning legs when I walk. I ran out of codeine and was sick of addiction even when taking normal dosage. I ran out Friday and I had to put on extra buprenorphine patch to cope with withdrawal. I'm going to remove patch in a week and I hope my addiction is broken, but I dont know how I will cope with pain.

😂 the ER in my area will literally tell you they don't give a shit. They tell you not to bother to show up if you are withdrawing cause they won't give you anything for it. Called one day during addiction and I was deep into withdrawal and literally felt like I was dying. The lady there told me just that and that they could give me a nausea med and kick me out basically. And if continues to be a huge issue here with the couple hospitals in my area and as far as I know all the hospitals in at least Maine will not help you

Gabapentin saved my live 1200 mlg 3 times a day, week three =1200 mg two times a day, week 4&5 600 3 day also smoking pot is a recommendation with gabapentin for depretion atomic and appetite God bless
