Checked all my extentions one by one, and it was my Ad-Blocker extension causing major response time/lag.

Just formated my PC and used a google chrome install file i had on my hard drive. Didn't know it doesn't auto update as updating it fixed the issue. Thank you!

Thanks! resetting Chrome flags worked for me as well! For some reason, Chrome on my desktop PC has been running as if it was my 11 year old, 2 core laptop after being on forever without a reset or shutdown (I always hibernate it, Windows is still on an HDD) If I reset the laptop Chrome runs fine. Thanks again!

Thank you! I'm not sure which of the steps worked the most, but Chrome is not freezing up and lagging any more. Although I was signed out of all my accounts (gmail, facebook, bank). Is there any way to do this without being signed out of everything?

I have deleted Adobe PDF Acrobat from the Extensions and it works fine now
