What Cavemen Can Teach You About Modern Dating

Lots of men are struggling in the world today... and perhaps that last bit, the "today" part, has something to do with it. We live a a world full of technology, but fundamentally, our brains are still those of hunter-gatherers. Once we can learn to appreciate this fact and harness its potential, we'll be a lot happier and more successful.

1. Workout/Exercise
2. Avoid toxic internet addiction, porn, social media, etc. Happiness > instant gratification
3. Create real, in-person social interaction with people. Make cold approaches.

Wow! Todd, I don't usually comment here, but this video literally dropped at a time when I've been feeling a lack of direction and increasing levels of depression over the past couple of months. Sharing this knowledge on our human history and what's important for us to apply to our modern lives due to our wiring is more helpful than you will ever know. Thank you.

Great video, Todd. But PLEASE tell your editor to turn down that camera sound effect to be 10 decibels quieter. It's much louder than your voice.

We evolve faster than our brains. I've never realized that before, it explains many things. Thank you!

The camera clicks are a bit loud compared to your voice. It's okay on occasion, but when it's every couple seconds, it's a bit too much.

thanks Todd for this gold nuggets!
my notes from this:
we havent updated as fast to adapt with tech. we are designed to be cavemans~. u r supposed to get dopamine from normal stuff. now u can be on ur couch all day and have high rushes of it and fast food, etc and all kind of stuff u had to do “0” work to get as a reward, get away from this.

before u had to do massive or work a lot to get those rewards. we hijacked the system in order to eliminate the work and get only the reward which isnt even real cuz u just get the feeling but no reward which give u pleasure but no reward cuz there is no self esteem behind it.
>it makes you desensitized to that, AND increases the craving to feel less and less and can even bleed into other areas of ur life.
>go fufill your feelings from real and healthy stuff like exercice, making friends in real life, etc.

I don't need to go to a gym to see my weights go up; I can just see it on my scale at home!

I'd be happy with video topics like this such as mental health, purpose, motivation, etc. If it meant more consistent video uploads from you.

Hello, Todd! i wanted to write this comment for a while. In one of your videos you told that every little improvment in game will change your life dramatically. And this is true, you changed my life. After wathing your videos for the first time in my life i slept with girl from online dating and she was the hottest girl i ever slept with. And my game is not super good yet, i opened her with your old line "You look pretty, fingers croosed you re not crazy;)" Yesterday i was on a date and i kissed the girl ive been with and now she sends me messages. i thank you a million times. Suggestion: you said to go out and meet new friends. I feel that this is exactly what i should do. if you feel compitent do give some tips about how to make friends it would be massively aprecceated

Love this video and the content in general! Just wanted to make a small input, it's a common misconception that people didn't live as long in the caveman days, and that life was difficult and brutal. if people lived past the age of 5 they lived about as long as we do now. Infant mortality was higher and that is included in the average, which brings the average lifespan down comma but it's not the mean lifespan. Also degenerative disease was unheard of, people had way more connection, way more life satisfaction, and way more leisure time. In fact, caveman had bigger brains than we do now. Civilized to death, the price of progress is a pretty good book on the subject. if you can ignore the author's editorial rants. But if you've made it this far in my rant, you should be okay.

Hey Todd. Thx for your vid. I work fulltime and do many sports (4-5 times a week). I have so many hobbies and interests that I hardly have time for a relationship. Women always want a lot of attention and I prefer to invest this time in my interests.

I allways use caveman analagies as the way our brains work has not changed from the research i have looked at.

Would you count following a sports team as a source of temporary happiness providing temporary highs because one could definitely make the case for it being meaningless and sucking up too much time for the value it gives. Personally, I would say it has given me long term happiness n the form of stronger relationships with other male friends who follow the sport as well as the knowledge that i will most likely follow the sport for the rest for my life meaning it will giving memories that i will remember for literally a lifetime. Would be interesting to hear what other people's opinions on such a topic would be.

Todd it would be neat if you could decode why women are so obsessed with travel and how we can be opportunistic with that fact
