I think the biggest loss Britain has suffered is the change in taste of Cadbury chocolate after Mondelez took over.

Fox’s Echo bars are also a delicious forgotten snack

Cabana Bars, made by Rowntree from the 80s to the 90s, had cherries, coconut and caramel surrounded by chocolate and were gorgeous. They were possibly a bit on the expensive side. I also enjoyed those Wotsit grid things that existed for a while, but there weren't many per pack.

Although I'm from Ireland, I grew up with many of these snack foods. I remember being devastated over Galaxy Truffles and Dream being discontinued! 😭🍫

I loved the milk tray chocolate bars back in the 70’s, the lime barrel was lovely

What about Texan Bars? How can you have a top 10 cancelled sweet list without including them!! Anyone growing up in the 70’s will remember these, they probably got taken off of the market because they were so chewy that it took three days to eat one (a week if you kept it in the freezer 😉).

The one that immediately comes to mind is Cadbury's snaps. Effectively a chocolate version of Pringles, Snaps came in a variety of flavours including Orange, Hazelnut and Honeycomb, but were eventually discontinued.

Flake Snow, better known as Snow Flake was awesome. They need to be brought back. But the one chocolate bar missing was Applause. It was made by Mars and had biscuit, raisins and Caramel covered in chocolate. They were yummy

In the 70's they used to have a chocolate bar called ''Rumba'' was like a double decker but had rum and raison, was lovely! Also for kids ''Jamboree Bag'' filled with little sweets inside like like the flying saucers, black jacks, gob stoppers etc .... Another one, ''Sugar Mice'' chunk of sugar in shape of a mouse!

The snow flake was so good I was so pleased when the Wispa came back for good that would for sure be number one if it hadn’t..

Funnily enough, the Top Ten is a bar i loved, it was pink nougat with crispy bits coated in chocolate. I want all of them to return apart from Fuse, especially Mars Planerts. I really miss Fruit alsorts, they were made with red licquorice and were amazing!

Anyone remember ViceVersas? Like galaxy minstrels but white and milk chocolate shells.

Forgotten Golden Cup from the list, very seldom I bought it as it was expensive (my pocket money could only stretch so far back then)

Yeah, I loved Mars delight, Cabana bars, Pacers, Spangles old English and mixed fruit ones. Was also a fan of Texan Bars, I used to get either a box of after 8’s or Mingle’s, actually there’s was a Pyramid layered of dark, white and milk chocolate with a mint fondant goo inside, Might be called Bizarre or bizarro? Anyhow you can get a variety mint chocolate box from Thornton’s and Elizabeth Shaw’s as well as your local supermarket chain version in the premium ranges. You still can get a Bendick’s version as well. It’s the bitter mint that I love the most.
Potato puffs did make a brief return for a couple of years. Same with Fish and Chips. I know that liked the tomato potato puffs.
No, Aztec were never that popular either, however Cabana were quite often sold out, the nickname for the Cabana bar was poshy Bounty bars!
Caramac bars vs Caramilk bars! Caramac was far better than caramilk. I actually do feel sick after 1 bit. Far too sweet and sickening.
Irn Bru Firey. Quattro sparkling flavour water. Prefer Merri-mate or Sangs or Bon Accord to panda pop! Eww! That’s well rank, Moray Cup and Tizer tasted better!
Tootie Fruities was definitely discontinued around 18 months ago.

Two snacks I miss - coffee cream biscuits, simular to custard creams but coffee flavored. Around in the 70s and 80s. May have disapeared during or by the 90s. The other one was Mr Kiplings cup cakes. They came in boxes of 6 in two varieties. All were sponges with a hard crisp icing. One box would contain chocolate flavout but the other box would contain 2 x chocolate, 2 x lemon and 2 x orange flavours. What ever happened to them?

The Snow Flake was GREAT! I once ate 6 consecutively! A travesty that they discontinued them!
You missed:
• OPAL MINTS
These were the spearmint version of Opal Fruits snd they were fantastic! I loved them! I WISH they’d be reinstated!!!

• AZTEC
This was a HUGE bar of similar shape to a Mars Bar except considerably bigger. Had raisins, nougat, chocolate and other bits I can’t remember inside.

• CRESTA
“It’s frothy, man!”
This was a frothy soft drink.

• CREMOLA FOAM
Another fizzy, sherbety, frothy soft drink. It’s been produced again by an independent company, but it’s not quite the same as the original old formula/recipe.

• MINT CRACKNELL / ORANGE CRACKNELL
That same independent company reintroduced these but - again - they’re just not the same as the originals.

Back in around 1994 there was the Triple Chocolate Limited Edition Twix - it has never returned, but was really good - chocolate biscuit, chocolate caramel all covered in the usual chocolate!
