This is because hydrogen containing only one valence electron is very reactive while on the other hand helium is an inert gas which do not react with any other element to form compounds or is not easily burnt on heating.
Although we are trying to produce helium fluoride but that is still work under progress.

I always thought Hydrogen flames to be mostly/pretty blue, since the this combustion has an almost 100% clean reaction, unlike organic carbon chain fuels. But these are pretty yellow, that's odd, is it because it burned too quickly?

Hydrogen : technically is lighter, and is common and is way affordable than helium and has more uses in chemistry
