A Spider with Golden Knees and The Deadly Tarantula Girl

Wow, this shiny purple on the carapace looks fantastic! Very beautiful! I‘m still scared of them, but in the same way fascinated, how beautiful they can be, which among of colorations they can have! And very cool that you can‘t see most of the colors without the right lighting.
Few months ago I couldn’t even touch the display of my phone as long as there was a spider (didn’t matter which size🤦🏽‍♀️😂) shown, and now I have my first jumping spider - caught in my kitchen. And I actually think about getting a T sling - a very very slow growing one☺️ - to overcome my fear completely.

My first tarantula was a g. Pulchripes. Realy loved it. I was so sad, when i realized, that my lovely "Amanda" was "Amadeus" and i had to gave him away. Still not sure, if i want to get some tarantulas again, but if, i will defenitly get a g. Pulchripes again!

Very pretty animal! Now a question for ya🙂 I hope it doesn’t sound silly but when you say that it is a good specimen for education purposes would it be a docile enough type that you would feel confident bringing to a school and showing it there? As you know I’m petrified of them so I’m trying to find that happy place in my mind that says yup it’s that docile enough even for a school show and tell 🙂 tfs have a great day 🧚🏻‍♀️🧚🏻‍♀️
