thanks for the post. Shaws in NH had thighs & legs for .89 per pound. also found some ground turkey with Italian spices for 1.99 / pound. pressure canner was busy this weekend.

I love that you are showing home canning. That is the best way to have meat in your pantry!! I appreciate your videos Jinny. Thank you so much! Also, I just started canning around a year ago and I had so many issues with lids and I finally learned that if I cold pack everything I never have issues with lids. I know it isn't reasonable to say "everything", but, I've not had any problems with seals or buckled lids or anything when I cold pack. I had issues with the cheap lids, but, even they do great when I cold pack and start everything at room temperature.

I love using the pink Himalayan salt in some warm water and add a little to each jar. I bought a zillion bags of the fine ground bags when DT was a dollar... got me LOTS of that pink "Gold"! ✔️

Thank you. You did this a year or so ago and I made 32 pints at that time. I have repeated several times since then. No telling how many quarts of chicken broth from them. Kept the tenders out and grilled them for supper every time I canned these. Great information. God Bless and stay safe.
