Wait...is that "Flight of the Bumblebee" playing in the background?! If so, then high marks for cleverness, LOL!! 😂😂😂

Plant native flower meadows and woodlands. American Meadows and Roundstone Seed Nursery are great resources

I think he said this because specifically, 2:1 sugar eater mimics honey, and stops bees from foraging, while 1:1 is nectar thick and encourages the bees to still hunt and forage even if it runs out.

Sugar is refined and bleached, if its not good for us, it is not good for the bees

I'm currently looking out of my kitchen widow, what I'm seeing is not a grass or lawn but lavender, rosemary, sour sobs and other winter flowers which I don't know the names to though one is a type of native orchid. On all these flowers I see BEES because we don't use pesticides (which is why I have listed what is locally considered weeds.) THAT is what saves the bees not sugar.

I wasn’t aware that I should have a soup kitchen for bees. Hopefully these bees get back on their feet.

This is horribly inaccurate or misleading at best. When done correctly there is zero harm to the bees. Commercial and backyard beekeepers feed extensively with sugar water to build strong colonies.

Ugh. Definitely would not do, no matter what! I live in an area with massive infestations of both native fire ants *and* invasive ants, (of several different species) and leaving sugar or sugar water outside just sounds like a literal "recipe" for an even worse ant problem!! And I'm already sick enough for getting attacked by hordes of ants when I'm gardening! 👎🏽👎🏽🙅🏽🙅🏽🐜🐜
