I love your excitement about making this quilt-this is WHY I continuously go back and watch tutorials over & over again-I feed off of YOUR ENTHUSIASM! I love this video. This quilt is truly a treasure because of the “borders” and how they appear to be UNDER the patchwork! This is one of the first patterns that I purchased😊❤

I mentioned to my husband that I needed to go to Home Depot for sewing supplies. He’s a pretty stoic guy, so his response was, “Of course you do. What do you want?” I told him I needed a four foot ruler.

A few days later, I had a medical procedure done that left me pretty sedated for 24 hours after. When I recovered and went into my sewing room, I’d discovered he’d gone and purchased the ruler for me. Never even asked “why?”.

I love that man!

That being said; I can’t believe how much of a difference it has made in keeping my strips sets actually straight!

You have given me so many tips, that I never would have thought of, that has made a real difference in my quilting. Thank you!
