Essence of the stotra :
Shri Maruti Stotra is composed by Shri Ramdas Swami who Himself was the incarnation of Shri Hanuman who controls the right side thus controlling our ego. Shri Hanuman is also known as Saint Gabriel. He plays tricks with those who are egoistic, too futuristic and fails the plans of those who plan too much. Even on the left side he assists Shri Bhairavanath to pull the seeker out of great fear.
It is said that once, in his childhood, Shri Hanuman flew up to the Sun and consumed it as if it were a fruit, but later he was asked to free the sun. This is very symbolic of Shri Hanuman's nature of putting an end to the raging fires of restlessness and aggressiveness within us. It also shows how he is just waiting to execute the given task as quickly as possible.
In the physical world, he manifests as the force of electromagnetics which exists in every atom. Most of the common forces in nature such as mechanical force, muscular force, chemical force are all derived from electromagnetic force and thus it is said that Shri Hanuman is the one who actually does all the things, we are just the instruments who witness all that happens.
श्री मारुती स्तोत्र की रचना श्री रामदास स्वामी ने की है जो स्वयं श्री हनुमानजी के अवतार थे | श्री हनुमानजी पिंगला नाडी को नियंत्रित करते हैं, जिन्हें Saint Gabriel नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं । वह उन लोगों के साथ चालें खेलते है जो अहंकारी होते हैं, बहुत अधिक भविष्यवादी होते हैं, उन लोगों की योजनाओं को विफल कर देते है जो बहुत अधिक योजनाएँ बनाते हैं। इस प्रकार वह हमारे अहंकार को नियंत्रित करते हैं | यहाँ तक कि इडा नाडी पर भी वह साधक को बड़े भय से बाहर निकालने में श्री भैरवनाथजी की सहायता करते हैं।
ऐसा कहा जाता है कि एक बार, बचपन में, श्री हनुमानजी सूर्य के पास उड़ गए और उन्होंने उसे खा लिया जैसे कि वह कोई फल हो, लेकिन बाद में उन्हें सूर्य को मुक्त करने के लिए कहा गया। इस घटना को एक प्रतीकात्मक रूप से समझा जा सकता हैं कि श्री हनुमानजी हमारे अंदर की बेचैनी और आक्रमकता की अग्नि को समाप्त करते हैं। इससे यह बात समझ में आती हैं कि वह दिए गए कार्य को जल्द से जल्द पूरा करने में तत्पर रहते हैं ।
भौतिक संसार में, वह विद्युत-चुम्बकीय शक्ति (electromagnetic force) के रूप में प्रकट होते हैं, जो हर परमाणु में स्थित है। प्रकृति में अधिकांश mechanical force, muscular force, chemical force सभी विद्युत-चुम्बकीय बल से उत्पन्न होते हैं और इस प्रकार यह कहा जाता है कि श्री हनुमानजी ही वह हैं जो वास्तव में सभी कार्य करते हैं |
हम केवल साधनमात्र हैं जो सब कुछ साक्षी भाव में रहकर देखते हैं।
